Testimonials
As church leaders (Bishops), when we are back in Burundi, we will brig together all the pastors and their wives in our areas and help them understand the meaning of rest and help to treat each other as couples! Thank you for the ministry of PCA
This is the second time coming to the center and there is alot of improvement and changes for the better. We enjoyed and felt rested. When we first came our ministry was only 4 months old and now it has grown beause of the counsel we continue to receive from Misigaros even when they reside far from us.
As pastoral counselors who desire to see more pastors helped, we are very excited with the vision God gave Dr. Misigaro and Mama Victoria! Such a center does not exist anywhere in Africa. We travelled with this couple to Burundi to help pastors and give counsel and guidance as needed. Thank you for supporting the ministry.
Since PCA is isolated and in the middle of nowhere our wives and us felt rested, energized, and refreshed. Now, when we are getting ready to leave and go back to our country Malawi, we have a very good understanding why this center is needed for all of Africa. We thank God for the center.
We appreciate very much all the supporters of PCA. For sacrifically giving your resources so we can have this center. we don’t belive there is another like this anywhere in Africa.
When we left the main road and started driving towards the center, my wife and I were asking each other where in the world are they taking us? We were a bit scared. After we got here at PCA, we found it was the best place to be.
The discussions we carry with our facilitators at PCA are treated and encouraged to remain confidential. This is important because as pastors we don’t have very many people to share our issues with. PCA staff communicated well with us and were very kind to all of us. They were available to help when we needed something.
I never really understood Acts 20:28 so well until we came to PCA. At this center we learned what we cannot get from our denomination or church leaders. We face alot of oppositions from other faiths and we get easily tired so rest is vital. Thank you for supporting pastoral care.
This center has taught me and my husband that “rest” is important and was spoken by Jesus himself to the apostles (Mark 6:30-32). Also, it was explained to us that rest for a pastor does not mean laziness.
PCA has helped us learn to avoid neglecting our spouses and our children at the expense of ministry and the church. Our families need us to take care of them too.
Until we came to PCA, my wife and I never understood the effects of burnout, depresssion and loneliness in ministry. Also, we are told coming to PCA helps us to be part of a network on What’s App that can help us answers some difficult questions we will face from time to time.
